Xbox One MIDI Controller

Use your XBOX One Controller as a MIDI Controller inside Ableton Live via USB.

How to set up (Mac Only):

1. Download and install 360Controller https://github.com/360Controller/360Controller/releases

2. Restart your computer and connect the Xbox One controller to it.

3. Go to Audio MIDI Setup>Show MIDI Studio and click on "IAC Driver".

4. Create a new IAC Driver by clicking on the "+" sign and name it "XBOX One MIDI".

5. Open Ableton Live and go to Preferences>Link MIDI.

6. For the "IAC Driver (XBOX One MIDI)" Input Port, disable "Track" and "Sync" and enable "Remote". For the "IAC Driver (XBOX One MIDI)" Output Port, disable "Sync" and "Remote" and enable "Track".

7. Create a MIDI Track.

8. Configure "MIDI From" to "No Input" and "MIDI To" to "IAC Driver (XBOX One MIDI)".

9. Drop the .amxd file in the MIDI Track.

10. You can now use your XBOX One Controller as a MIDI Controller via USB. MIDI mapping is achieved through the usual "MIDI Learn" method inside Ableton Live.
